An architect is a person who has the responsibility to supervise and complete the jobs relating to the remodeling, up gradation, renovation, and aesthetic decoration, of the buildings. Interior designers essentially need to be creative, imaginative and artistic, besides being disciplined, organized, skilled and scientifically inclined. Interior design includes the planning and design of spaces for commercial, industrial and institutional uses.

The Interior designers require working collaboratively with architects, contractors and other service providers. Designers require being both good team leaders and team players. It is essential for them to possess excellent time and project management skills, since there are situations when they require working on more than one project at a time, under demanding deadlines.
